Thanks for the response. I have been putting money in MLP's since july 2009 and now I got used to buying partnerships with 9 or 10% or more payouts. Now, with the price appreciation, I am looking at 6% payouts for the new money I invest as I save each month. MPLP currently pays out about 10%, so it is very tempting, especially for a retirement account. I hope that we see more distibution increases next year that will carry the share prices higher.
The GLP distribution hadn't moved since Q1 of 2007 I believe. It was never cut in all that time but it's nice to finally see a small hike.
