Look at KMP's earnings and distribution increase. Very impressive. CPNO also raised their payout.

Depends. If you are a short-term investor who is trying to make a buck trading MLPs, then it may not matter. If, on the other hand, you are a long-term investor who is buying MLPs at today's prices for the income and for long-term income growth and capital appreciation, then it will matter a lot.
