XTEX 11.35% Yield
APL 13.45% Yield

10 year Treasury 3.65%

If these were normal markets i would say the yields are telling us that we will see distribution cuts across the board next month.

Of course EV Partners (EVEP) has already said they are raising their distribution to 75 cents from 70 cents..but nobody gives a shit.

These companies are trading as if they are going out of business.

I truly believe that there are so many morons invested MLPs that have no idea what an MLP is. Selling NGLS which is growing like mad or XTEX down here is just madness. Yet day after day they sell off. A decades worth of upward price action is disappearing before our eyes.

It's just brutal.

Joe,

How about APL, didn't they say the 09 distribution would range from $4.25 to $4.50?

That works out to 15.00% right here.

My sense is we either drift sideways for months on end or we have a snapback rally from hell. This insanity cannot persist for much longer.

Glory!

APL did indeed say the distribution is going up. BUT WHO GIVES A SHIT! AAAAAAHHHHHH!!!!!!

Wow--EPD selling for 25 and change. If I wasn't overweight in MLPs already, I don't know that I could resist. What an opportunity for the retail long-term investor!

I did add to my CPNO holdings today and added to ETE yesterday. I will add to MWE if (when?) it breaks 29.

In times like these it is best to try and focus on four facts:

First, MLP's have been taken to the woodshed many times in the past.

Second, MLP's have always recovered from past beatings to stage multi-year snapback rallies.

Three, you haven't lost anything unless you sell.

Fourth, distributions are real money.

So, while we haven't lost anyhting, except on paper, and are pulling in distributions at very high levels, the share prices will eventually snap back, and we'll have capital gains and distributions.

btw...the "who gives a shit" response was not to be read as anger...just an attempt to show i have come to love my inner frustration!

I like your attitude, Joe.

"Thank you, sir! May I have another?!"
