Well after selling off a couple of points the MLP index has (hold on to something)...turned higher! Kinder Morgan (KMP) and Atlas Energy Resource (ATN) are up 1. Hiland Partners (HLND) is up 3 dollars as it plays catch up from Friday.

Dow down a little less than 200 and big energy is lower so its nice to see relative outperformance.

At the risk of being wrong (again), I still think this is a good time to buy MLPs. I'm wondering if some of you would post what you believe to be your best potential holding. I'm interested to buy some stuff here and I'd like to know what others think is the best of the bunch.

Steve,

I own a bunch of MLPs. I have recently added PAA, TPP, WPZ and
NS. For me I was just averaging down last week as yields exploded and some MLPs went back to pre-2004 prices. I plan to hold them for a while. Some of the GPs seem like steals down here.

IMHO now that Buffett has Constellation Energy (CEG) i think Constellation Energy Partners (CEP) has some upside in here. I also think Inergy Holdings (NRGP) is basically selling at cost here for a GP. Holly Partners (HEP) also looks attractive.

I am long 2 of the 3..have been trading in and out of holly lately.

My favorites (all of which I own) are: ETE, MGG, CPNO and MWE.

I also own a bit of PSE and LGCY.

Having said that, do your own research. You may disagree with my conclusions and/or your goals may differ from mine.

Thanks, I appreciate it. I am currently long SGU (on spec), XTEX, CEP, NRGY, MWE, NS, PAA, TPP and LINE. CEP and LINE are new (this year) but I have held the others for many years.

According to Bloomberg radio, there was a short squeeze today on the OCT OIL contract as this is the last day of trading the OCT contract.

The NOV contract was trading up to $106-107, as when they reported it about 10 minutes ago.
