MONDAY MORNING...EARNINGS FOR BOARDWALK
WILL TODAY BE THE DAY FOR 300?

The MLP index managed an up close on Friday so we are sitting less than a point from the 300 level. By the way there is nothing magical about the number other than its a round number and i have mentioned it early as a logical target when the rally began last October. Whether the round number becomes a logical resistance point and a place for a correction to begin in the group remains to be seen. Otherwise the trend remains our friend for now.

Monday morning begins with the energy complex lower as the Saudis say the oil market looks pretty much in balance right now. 10 year at 4.80% and holding. Meanwhile we have earnings this morning from Boardwalk Partners which show a 46% increase in net. Looks like the stock has already figured this out based on the performance.

Nothing much else happening this morning in corporate news and no upgrades or downgrades on the list either. So i will be monitoring for any breaking news. E V Partners has some bids this morning above Friday's close which may suggest that Friday's nearly 2 point run intraday may not be done.
