Down 4.60 on the mlp index and off the lows of the day as we have given back 1/3 of Friday's 20 point gain. The Washington windbags are still at it and the overall market which is trying not to go down is waiting for these blowhards to finish pontificating.

Sunoco Logistics leads the losers down 2.30 at this point. 1 point minus signs in Markwest (MWE) Amerigas (APU) Nustar (NS) Buckeye (BPL) Atlas Resource (ATN) and Enbridge (EEP).

A few issues showing fractional plus signs but nothing stands out in the mess. Dow up only 13 points right now.

The windbags seem to be posturing politically.

Bernanke + Paulson should say if there is 10 billion of a class held in many institutions, the feds would offer to buy 2 billion in a reverse auction.
That would force institutions to taylor their offer to a price that might be likely to be accepted.

It seems that our senators are--on a truly non-partisan basis--competing for the title of most ignorant, arrogant and bombastic speaker at today's hearings.

These foolhardy clowns are making me sick.

I disagree Bruce ,

I'm still waiting for Sen. Bunning, when it comes to ignorant... he can't be topped.

Now the Dow is down by over 100 points,
one thing is crystal clear... these hearings should not be broadcasted... these guys are confidence killer.

Sen Martinez is asking about the 36billion GSE preferreds and the damage that was done when their value was wiped out.

I guess you're not familiar with Barbara Boxer.
