SARAH PALIN AND THE MSM

I have not ventured into political blogging often here unless it relates to us but i have to put my 2 cents in about the main stream media and their behavior in the last few weeks due to Sarah Palin. As a member of that particular class i can't tell you how shameful it makes me feel. Their behavior has been nothing short of horrible. They no longer even hide their biases. They put them right out there for all to see.

However there is hope. If there is one measure of the influence and credibility of the MSM one needs only look at the following 2 charts.

Just ask the shareholders of these two newspaper companies what they think of the MSM.

Joe,

Newspapers and "mainstream" media are dying a slow painful death. Personally, I am glad. The media establishment tries to make the news, rather than report it.

MSNBC is a perfect example of the excess bias today. Their engorged love interest in Osama Barak is disgusting. I cannot wait to see, read and hear all the teeth gnashing that will take place when McCain-Palin win this election.

As for the news on Fannie and Freddie. Something needed to be done. The cost to taxpayers will be large. I would be shocked if equity and preferred holders had any recovery value.
