Joe - I see that you and I share another passion besides the MLPs. I'm on the west coast, but I made one trip a few years ago to Saratoga. I make 1-2 visits to Del Mar each year, and have friends in Louisville so I go to Derby (nearly) every year.
i actually own a horse..Hallie's Charm. She just broke her maiden in January in Charlestown and she is now racing at Philadelphia park.
Saratoga is great. I go up there on day trips. Belmont and Monmouth are all within striking distance.
BTW I think Street Sense is the real deal for a triple crown.
